Napoli are leading Chelsea and Everton in the race to sign Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon, reports claim.
The Blues have been strongly linked with a move for the defender, who is seen as a cheaper alternative to Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell.
According to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato, the Serie A club are front-runners to land the Spaniard.
Reguilon, who has three years remaining on his Madrid deal, was voted the best left-back in the LaLiga last season after impressing on loan at Sevilla.
It is understood Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Napoli are also tracking the progress of the 23-year-old.
As well as several impressive displays in LaLiga, Reguilon has also shone in the Europa League and he is set to start against Manchester United in the semi-finals on Sunday evening.
However, the chances of the left-back displacing either Marcelo or Ferland Mendy are relatively slim under Zinedine Zidane.
The Bernabeu hierarchy rate Reguilon highly, but have a plethora of talent in his position, so would sell for the right price.
Asked about interest from big sides like Chelsea, the left-back told Marca: “If my year at Sevilla had not been good, then this would not be happening
“These teams would not ring. If I am fine, the team is fine and the club is fine, everyone is happy.
“But I do not think about these possibilities now – I’m sorry if that sounds like a cliche.
“I’ve been saying since quarantine that until the season isn’t over I won’t be talking about my future. Until then it would be unfair on myself, my teammates and club.
“I have no complaints about anything, about the city, the club, my colleagues. I feel very loved. Who knows what will happen in the future.”
