Frank Lampard has admitted to talkSPORT that he faces a tough decision selecting his goalkeeper for Saturday’s FA Cup final.

The Blues will face Arsenal in the Wembley showpiece with their usual second-choice stopper Willy Caballero expected to start in goal ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Question marks have been raised over Kepa’s form throughout the season and he was benched for Chelsea’s crucial final Premier League game of the season against Wolves.

Caballero kept a clean sheet in his place.

When asked if it’ll be tough to pick the team, including goalkeeper, on Saturday, Lampard told talkSPORT’s Ian Abrahams: “Yeah, difficult, because we have competition in the squad.

“And as you’ve seen through the season at times I’ve had to change it, I’ve felt the need to change it.

“I always do it with the idea that, ‘Can we win the game? Can we be the strongest we can be?’

“With a consideration of what opposition are in front of us.

“And in big games like this that becomes slightly more difficult because I know how much players wanna be involved in these games.

“We have to be a strong squad, we have to be together on it, whatever XI, whatever people on the bench, because in the last period for us people on the bench have made huge differences in certain games.

“We have to feel like we’re together.

“And if we win it, it means a collective thing for us.

“So yeah, it’s difficult for me and it’ll be difficult to take.

“But players have to be positive to go into this trying to win as a group.”
