John Craig, USPTA Elite Professional, discusses how to disguise your serve in tennis
With 3 tosses, 3 spins, and 3 locations to place to your serve, that makes 27 variables while serving! To make your serve more simple while disguising it from your opponent, practice using one toss area for all of your serve while still being able to use all 3 spins and 3 locations in the service box.
Where is the perfect ball placement to achieve this? Inside the right shoulder between the shoulder and ear. Keep your eyes right on the point of release on your serve. Use your left arm (the non-dominant arm) to help measure your ball toss. Also, stay balanced in your trophy position!
