Aubameyang is tipped to leave Arsenal (Picture: Getty)

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly discussed leaving Arsenal with Inter Milan players as the Serie A side looks to beat Manchester United and Chelsea to his signature.

Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for the Gabon international after contract negotiations were shelved.

His demands of £300,000-a-week are said to be too handsome for Emirates chiefs and a host of clubs across Europe believe they can land the 30-year-old, with his contract expiring next summer.

Inter Milan are confident they can persuade Aubameyang to join, particularly with Arsenal set to miss out on Champions League football next season.

According to Le10 Sport, Aubameyang would be keen on a return to Milan after coming through Inter rivals AC Milan’s youth system and he has discussed the prospect of a move to the San Siro with several players already at the club.

However, it’s thought his wages could price Inter out of the market.

The report claims Aubameyang is unlikely to stay at Arsenal, but his father dropped a hint last night that he should commit his future to the Gunners.

Alongside a picture of Aubameyang signing for the club, his dad Pierre wrote: ‘You know what you have to do bro.’

But Chelsea board members are convinced Arsenal will be forced to cash in on the striker.

A forward is at the top of manager Frank Lampard’s summer wishlist and they feel they can lure Aubameyang to Stamford Bridge with the likely promise of Champions League football.

Since joining Arsenal in January 2018, Aubameyang has scored 61 goals in 97 games for the club.
