Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks escaped with a tight four point victory over the Plymouth Raiders on Friday to extend their lead at the top of the BBL Championship.

Ali Fraser led his side to victory, knocking down 18-points and grabbing five rebounds whilst point-guard Greg Pryor picked up a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Plymouth looked strong throughout the game but couldn’t catch a break on some possessions allowing the Rocks to make a comeback in the fourth quarter for the win.

Leicester Riders took a dominant home victory over the struggling Manchester Giants also, with Jamell Anderson leading the way with 17-points for the Riders with Kyron Cartwright also adding a key eight assists, helping his team mates onto the scoresheet.

Ingus Bankevics managed to drop a game-high 20-points for the Giants, with Yorick Williams also putting up 16-points for the Giants. However, a poor start set the tone for the game as the Riders rode out to a 30-8 lead in the first quarter leaving the Giants scrambling for a comeback in the second half.

And B. Braun Sheffield Sharks recent run of back-to-back wins came to an end after falling short to the Worcester wolves, 89-70.

The Wolfpack lead throughout, after taking off to a fantastic start, racking up 21 points in the first quarter, and finishing the half with a whopping total of 48 points to lead 48-32.

Despite B. Braun Sharks serving up a mighty comeback in the fourth quarter, adding 22 to the board, it was not enough to take home the win.
