The pressure is on for Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks. Having taken top spot of the BBL Championship from London Lions last weekend, they’ll be looking to extend that lead at the top this Friday when they travel down south to meet Plymouth Raiders. But given they fell to Raiders in their previous meeting, it might not be such a walk in the park.

WORCESTER WOLVES V B. BRAUN SHEFFIELD SHARKS

Competition: BBL Championship

B. Braun Sheffield Sharks had a perfect week last weekend, picking up back-to-back home wins, boosting them up the standings. They’ll be hoping to continue that momentum when they meet BBL Cup champions Worcester Wolves away from home on Friday.

LEICESTER RIDERS V MANCHESTER GIANTS

Venue: Morningside Arena
Competition: BBL Championship

Leicester Riders have suffered a difficult couple of games recently, picking two consecutive losses, one to London and most recently Bristol. They’ll be looking to pick things back up when they return home to face Manchester Giants, who themselves are still desperately looking to pick up their first Championship win.

BRISTOL FLYERS V RADISSON RED GLASGOW ROCKS

Bristol Flyers picked up a major win for the BBL Championship campaign, defeating Leicester Riders in a close encounter. They’ll be looking to pick up an even bigger win on Saturday when they meet league leaders Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks.

NEWCASTLE EAGLES V TEAM SOLENT KESTRELS

Venue: Emirates Arena
Competition: BBL Trophy Final

It all comes down to this: the BBL Trophy Final. Team Solent Kestrels have already made history in becoming the first ever National Basketball League (NBL) team to qualify for a BBL Trophy Final. They’ll be looking to make double history as they seek to become the first NBL team to collect BBL silverware. But, despite an incredible undefeated NBL season, it certainly won’t be a walk in the park as they will meet BBL veterans Newcastle Eagles, who make their first Trophy Final since 2016.
